Another seldom seen variant of the high arched foot is the type that have two or three of the arches raised off the ground when baring weight. Known as 'outer' arches by some, this foot type is sought after in the foot community but almost never represented by models or foot pages. This foot type itself is scarce, most commonly found in eastern and northern Europe but not exclusively. The architecture of this foot type is characterized by a definite and visible gap between the heel and ball of the foot when standing and can be distinguished by the foot prints they leave because both longitudinal and lateral arches are raised off the ground, there is a tunnel underneath the foot rather than just an arch that daylight can pass right beneath. They may also be able to slide small objects right under their feet without making contact. I have included a few examples below.
I would be interested to know if anyone else shares this preference ?
